FIFindIntern

Privacy

This describes what the FindIntern software does. Anyone can run their own copy, so the person or group running this one is responsible for your data. Ask them if you have questions.

What's stored

  • Your email address and a hashed password.
  • Your profile, the resumes you upload, the facts taken from them, and your preferences.
  • Your matches, tailored resumes, cover letters, form answers and application history.
  • Your email settings and AI key, if you add them. These are encrypted, and never shown again.
  • A log of the emails sent for you, and short-lived verification codes.

Who sees it

  • Whoever runs this copy of FindIntern, since it's stored on their server. If you run it yourself, that's only you.
  • Recruiters and companies see only what you send them.
  • Your AI provider, if you use one, receives your confirmed facts, resume text and the job listing so it can score and tailor. Their privacy terms apply to that.
  • Your mail provider handles the emails sent from your address.

What isn't done

  • No analytics, advertising or tracking. The only cookie keeps you logged in.
  • Your data isn't sold or shared for any other purpose.

How long it's kept

  • Your data stays until you delete your account.
  • Email logs are removed after 180 days. Closed job listings you didn't apply to are removed after 90 days.

Your control

  • Export everything, or permanently delete your account and files, from Settings at any time.
  • Revoke browser extension tokens and delete remembered answers in Settings.
